Position: Fashion CAD Specialist

Summary: The company is looking for seral talented and enthusiastic Associate Designer/ CAD Specialists, Fashion to join our Women/ Men and Children Apparel’s Department. Duties & Responsibilities :

• Assist in the research of seasonal trends, themes, colors, raw materials, styling, and trims
• Work with the product development & technical design teams to maintain design concepts throughout production process including fit
• Create rough sketches by hand or by illustrator
• Study company reports for category success & opportunity observation.
• Participate and take detailed notes in meetings
• Revise sketches as requested by members of the design team
• Create sketches and cad layouts for print approval
• Follow-up with internal and external partners, including technical design, merchandising and production; facilitate interoffice communication.
• Build collaborative relationships with merchandising, manufacturing, and interdepartmental groups
• Be proactive, anticipating meeting needs as well as design needs
• Organize & participate in Seasonal Walkthrough Meetings
• Organize Seasonal Dress Rehearsals
• Own Description of product in the DTP

Qualifications :

• Bachelor's degree in fashion design or related field preferred, Associates required
• Five years experience in women/ Men and Children Apparel
• High level proficiency in Illustrator, Photoshop, and Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) programs
• Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook) with experience in PC and Mac platforms
• Must have strong design skills
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• Must have strong organizational skills, be detail-oriented and remain focused in a fast-paced environment
• Must be able to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the public

Schedule: (Day shift, Monday to Friday )

COVID-19 considerations:

This is an on-site role; however, we adhere to safety protocols to keep all employees safe. Daily temperature checks and masks are required, and team members are working in a distanced manner throughout our warehouses, offices and recording studios.

Fashion Design: 7 years (Preferred)

Design: 5 years (Preferred)
